COVID-19 procurement situation worldwide - Information for our business partners

The COVID-19 pandemic is currently shaping the market dynamics worldwide, both directly and indirectly. This is reflected in increasing freight and material costs, as well as in extended delivery times. The demand for steel and raw materials clearly exceeds the available supply.

We work with analytical forecast tools to keep an overview of the inventory and supply situation for you in the best possible way and to enable a quick reaction on our part in the event of bottlenecks. If manufacturers give us extended delivery times, these will be adjusted directly in our system.

Unfortunately, despite all our precautions and efforts, we cannot rule out the fact that due to global parameters and reasons beyond our control, for which we are not responsible, delivery deadlines cannot be met or delivery deadlines have to be adjusted, i.e. extended. We must exclude liability for late deliveries or insufficient quantities. As soon as there are effects on delivery times that affect you or a justified need to adjust prices, we will inform you immediately and find a solution with you.
